Wild Rice Salad

My life group meets every Sunday night. We have a potluck, which is normally themed. This week, we all brought a food beginning with the first letter of our last names. :) I decided on cold "wild rice salad," which was a major hit! 
I may or may not have eaten all the leftovers when I got home. 


Recipe adapted from: Food.com
Feeds 8-10 

1 c. Uncooked wild rice 
3 green onions
1/4-1/2 cup olive oil 
1/8 cup red wine vinegar 
1 cup raisins 
1/2-1 cup chopped pecans 
1-2 tsps honey
Salt 

1. Cook the rice according to package directions. Do not add spices if they are included.
2. Mix in raisins. Set in refrigerator to cool
3. Once cool, add chopped green onions, pecans, oil, vinegar, and salt. 
4. Stir well and drizzle honey on top.
