Happy new year!!

We celebrated New Year's Eve at my sister's house in Louisiana. That girl knows how to throw a party! Chili, hot chocolate bar, and a s'mores bar for the fire outside. How fun?!?

New Year's Day morning, we said our goodbyes and started our trip to Tennessee!

We stopped in Jackson for lunch and in Memphis to have coffee with friends. We finally made it about 8pm. (The drive from our home town to our new town is about 9 hours without stops.) 

We stayed in a hotel last night and woke up to snow!!!! I have been loving it. And I also need to buy a hat, gloves, ear muffs. Ha. 

We ran errands all day today- post office, put utilities in our name, propane for our new fireplace, bought a washer/dryer etc. 

Then we closed on our house at 4pm! 

Tried an awesome sushi place for dinner and now tucked in to our last night in a hotel (for a while, at least), watching the Alabama game. 

Move in day is tomorrow (Friday)!!!
