I had one job.

Apparently gardening (and by gardening, I mean keeping one potted plant alive) is not in my skill set.

See, a while back, I really thought the front of our house could use some livening up... you know, some color. So I carefully selected a few plants that are supposed to like the sunlight. I potted them. I watered them. Look how pretty!

 Then I forgot about them. My watering got kind of sparse.

And this happened.

I give you permission to laugh.

It reminds me of those pictures, "You had one job." Here are a few to make you laugh...
