Puppy Chow

Disclaimer: Again, this recipe is NOT paleo. :)

2nd most requested recipe. My Mom is basically a celebrity. This is also one of my most memorable and favorite childhood eats. PUPPY. CHOW. Mom always made it for long trips and for LSU games.

You need:
6 oz. semi sweet chocolate chips
6 oz. milk chocolate chips
2 cups peanut butter
1 box of Crispix cereal (or rice chex if you can't find Crispix)

Melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter together in a double boiler, stirring frequently until smooth.

Makeshift double boiler!
Pour the mixture over the Crispix in a LARGE plastic bowl (preferably with a lid). Gently stir until all the Crispix are coated.

Next, dump powdered sugar over the mixture, cover the bowl with a lid, and shake/move around gently until the Crispix are coated. Take the lid off, add more powdered sugar, and repeat the process until everything is coated (you may have to break up the clumps with a fork.)

Ta-da! Here's the finished product. It's pretty addicting.

Just a warning: You will be covered in powdered sugar at the end of this process. As will your entire kitchen.
