Ft. Campbell Memorial

Last week, I had the honor of viewing this memorial on Fort Campbell. It includes a display of single boots, representing each of the 5,900 service members who has died in service since 9/11. Placed in chronological order, each boot included a picture of the service member it represented. It was powerful.

Last Saturday, the boots lined a 5k route which Billie ran.  

What a reminder that it's an honor to be an Army wife and to never forget the loss that service members and their families experience.
