My brother-in-law lived in Tucson when he was younger, and he insisted that Billie and I see Mount Lemmon before we leave Arizona. So for Veteran's Day, we made the drive to Tucson then the almost 30 mile drive up Mount Lemmon Hwy AKA Catalina Hwy.

Peak elevation is over 9,000 feet and the temperature dropped about 25 degrees from the base of Mount Lemmon to the top!

I've heard of people running and biking up Mount Lemmon Hwy... we even passed several road bikers. And my hat is off to them! I'll leave Mount Lemmon to the pros. :)
